"Dynamic Spatial Anchoring and Repatterning Workshop"
By Panos Lazanas, University of Johannesburg, South Africa |

Introduction
Writers like Dreyfus have
eloquently pointed out the limitations of Web based
communication (see his book, “On
the Internet”). This mode of communication is usually confined
to the visual and audio sensory channels and its
content is mostly information based conveyed in conscious mind
terms, which usually exclude the richness of true person
to person communication. Deep human interaction includes other
subconscious elements, which arise from the
physical presence of the other person (body language, facial
expressions, a sense of presence etc.). Thus Internet
based communication may lead to a sense of isolation and a
limited depth of experience.
The Alternative
In this workshop a new language will be revealed /co created
such that deep personal experience can become available
to conscious processing which then can replace or be added on
to the usual conscious mind expressions which
constitute web based interaction.
Content
of the workshop
The technology of Dynamic Spatial Anchoring and Repatterning
will be introduced by means of demonstrations and
exercises. The workshop will be conducted in an interactive
manner so that the participants will be able to access
their subconscious experience right away.
Further, the language required to make subconscious experience
conscious and share it with others will be created.
The group will then collectively develop new ways of
communication using the internet platform, leading to a sense
of personal expansion and depth of experience transcending
current limitations and separation boundaries.
The following will be introduced in the workshop:
The “Structure of Intuition”, “Spatial Representation of
Experience”, different ways of perceiving, direct access to
sub conscious states bypassing conscious interpretation, a new
language of expressing inner states, communication
of meaning instead of information, feedback by means of
sharing an experience, inner listening, application of the
above
to web based communities.
Participants
This workshop is for anyone who is interested in the
enrichment of web based community and communication and
who wishes to overcome the inherent boundaries of the internet
medium as well as expanding and deepening
personal experience. Researchers who wish to take these ideas
forward and discover new applications for the technology
are particularly welcome.
